What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain data pipelines and reporting systems using SQL.
- Design scalable, efficient data structures that bring clarity to complex business problems.
- Partner with internal stakeholders—both technical and non-technical—to understand data needs and deliver actionable solutions.
- Write, review, and refine code to ensure every release is clean, stable, and production-ready.
- Share your expertise and foster a culture of learning through collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and best practices.
- Jump in on other data projects as needed—your ideas and initiative are always welcome.
Requirements:
- 5+ years in Microsoft SQL—including complex queries, table partitioning, joins, subqueries, aggregates, ranking, and stored procedures—with a knack for query optimization.
- Hands-on experience working with data in both batch and real-time systems.
- Solid understanding of relational DBMS and NoSQL data stores.
- Working knowledge of at least one OOP language—Python, PHP, C#, JavaScript, or Java.
- Experience working with relational databases and NoSQL data stores.
- Familiarity with the QA process for coding reviews.
- Experience working with financial or accounting systems and a passion for building secure, efficient data structures.
- A problem-solver’s mindset—you don’t just spot issues, you fix them elegantly.
- Strong communication skills and an ability to bridge the gap between technical and business teams.
- Proven ability to thrive in a remote, collaborative environment where outcomes matter most.
