Computer Systems Analyst

Advancia Aeronautics is seeking a Computer Systems Analyst to support the Department of the Interior, Human Resource Directorate in Lakewood, Colorado. This role provides full life-cycle Information Technology (IT) support for various Human Resources Directorate (HRD) and Human Resources Systems Management Division (HRMSD) software applications and services. Position is contingent upon contract award, government acceptance, and positive adjudication of government investigation.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Demonstrated experience in API design, development, and integration, including REST, SOAP, and secure data exchange protocols.
• Familiarity with integration and API management tools (MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, Swagger, Postman) and development environments (GitHub, PHP, Java, SQL, Lucee ColdFusion) is preferred.
• Analyzes complex business data processing problems to develop and implement solutions for enterprise applications and system integration challenges.
• Performs systems management and integration across heterogeneous platforms, including legacy and cloud environments.
• Identifies and mitigates system performance bottlenecks and limitations.
• Designs enterprise system architecture for scalability, interoperability, and secure data flow between HRMSD and external systems.
• Collaborates with stakeholders to translate business requirements into system specifications and architectural solutions.
• Develops and implements enterprise-level strategies for software, hardware, and network optimization.
• Evaluates and recommends software and COTS solutions, ensuring compatibility with HRMSD’s technical architecture.
• Reviews and enhances system workflows, including automation and data exchange processes.
• Evaluates and recommends commercially available software to meet technical and operational needs.

Education & Experience Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science.
• 10+ years of experience in systems analysis.
