Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Services Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-based applications and services. You will work with various cloud platforms and technologies to ensure efficient and scalable solutions that meet our clients' needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud computing, software development, and IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement service-oriented architecture for cloud applications.
• Develop and maintain applications using cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure and DigitalOcean.
• Monitor system performance and implement improvements to ensure reliability and efficiency.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and Git for seamless software deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and refine application requirements.
• Create RESTful APIs to facilitate communication between services.
• Ensure system hardening and security best practices are followed in all deployments.
• Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible for automated provisioning of cloud resources.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud services, applications, and infrastructure.
• Stay updated on industry trends in cloud computing and contribute to the continuous improvement of our cloud architecture.
• Manage Email and webservers (Apache/Nginx).
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker.
• Develop automation scripts using Python and PHP to streamline operations.
• Build and maintain internal tools and web-based applications.

Experience

• Knowledge of scripting using Python and PHP.
• Experience utilizing containerization concepts and Docker.
• Understanding of version control systems and Git.
• Ability to spec out hardware requirements.
• Experience in developing ETL processes end-to-end in Informatica.
• Knowledge of data modeling, transformations, Mappings, Workflows.
• Ability to apply best practices to ETL development, testing, scheduling, and monitoring.
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Work Location: Remote
