Senior C# Developer / Programmer Analyst 3 (Hybrid, VA)
Greetings from OpenKyber! We are reaching out regarding an exciting direct client opportunity for a Senior C# Developer/Programmer Analyst 3. This is a hybrid position located in VA.
We are seeking a high-quality C# developer to program, maintain code, and develop .NET solutions for our business. This role requires designing, writing, and maintaining C# program code for ongoing and future projects. You will contribute to design and planning sessions and formulate approaches for current coding tasks. The ideal candidate will develop high-quality applications using C#, Angular, and SQL Server.
Candidates must detail experience with large menu-driven business systems, such as applications related to claims processing, payroll, medical, or insurance. The role requires knowledge of transferring data between application screens, selecting and scrolling through large datasets, handling add/update/delete order-entry type transactions, and building new screens and reports. Note: We do not use APIs.
Success in this role requires an excellent grasp of C# and the .NET framework, prolific coding abilities, and strong daily problem-solving skills. A top-quality C# developer will manage the creation, maintenance, and further development of .NET applications and programs.
C# Developer Responsibilities:
- Develop C# .NET solutions for the organization.
- Create in-house applications utilizing the .NET framework.
- Debug and maintain written code (excluding APIs).
- Define and organize projects on an ongoing basis.
- Report and resolve issues related to .NET projects.
- Identify and manage technical risks and issues.
- Collaborate within a project team alongside other developers.
- Provide technical support to organizational stakeholders.
- Report on project statuses and developments to senior team members.
- Participate in project meetings with management and team members.
C# Developer Requirements:
- C#, .NET 3.1 (or higher).
- Angular (gRPC is a plus).
- SQL Server.
- Visual Studio/Visual Studio Code.
- Knowledge of build and deployment repositories such as Azure Dev Ops or GitHub.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a C# programmer or developer.
- Knowledge of other coding languages (COBOL, PHP, C+, Java, Python, Coldfusion, etc.) is a plus.
- Ability to write clean, easy-to-understand code.
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and complete projects with minimal supervision.
- Experience with ColdFusion is nice to have but not necessary.
- Sound understanding of coding and development processes.
- Experience working in an agile environment.
