Cloud and Infrastructure Architect

Grupo NS, a technology consulting and engineering firm with over 20 years of IT sector experience, is seeking senior technology architect profiles (Account Architect / Cloud Architect) for a long-term project within our Infrastructure and Cloud services. We are looking for professionals with solid experience in architecture design, cloud transformation, and technology project management, possessing strong technical skills and strategic vision.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and coordinate architectures in Cloud (AWS, Azure) and On-Premise environments.
• Lead Cloud adoption: define strategy, plan implementation, and support cultural and technological change.
• Plan and supervise infrastructure projects, ensuring quality, performance, and regulatory compliance.
• Test and evaluate new technological solutions to optimize platforms and services.
• Establish technical policies, procedures, and standards related to infrastructure and Cloud.
• Collaborate with various technical and business areas in defining integrated architectures.
• Manage vendors, estimate costs, and prepare technical budgets.

• Location: Madrid / Almería (occasional trips to Almería).
• Duration: Long-term.
• Schedule: Full-time.

Minimum Requirements

• Education: Degree or Engineering in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or Information Systems, or equivalent qualifications.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of technical experience in infrastructure platforms (Cloud and/or On-Premise).
• Experience in architecture design, planning, and project management.
• Languages: Technical English, spoken and written.

Required Technical Knowledge

• Cloud Architecture: AWS, Azure, or similar (certification valued).
• Security and Cloud Computing.
• Network Design (NW Design) and storage administration.
• Databases: Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Aurora, DynamoDB.
• Operating Systems: Unix/Linux and Wintel.
• Middleware and automation.
• Knowledge in ITSM, outsourcing, integration, and security.

Valuable Knowledge

• DevOps (Ansible Tower/AWX, Docker, Jenkins, Puppet).
• Repositories and version control: Git (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket).
• Monitoring: Grafana, Zabbix.
• APIs: REST, XML, SOAP, JSON, PHP.
• Financial or legal knowledge associated with Cloud service management.
