Chief Technology Officer

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our organization’s technological innovation and strategic direction. As a key member of the executive leadership team, you will drive digital transformation initiatives, oversee the development of scalable systems, and ensure the security and integrity of our information infrastructure. Duties

• Develop and execute the organization’s overall technology strategy aligned with business goals, including strategic planning for digital transformation and innovation.
• Lead and manage cross-functional technology teams, including software development, system design, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, and IT operations.
• Oversee system design for system development projects ensuring scalable, secure, and efficient architectures using distributed systems, cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure, and modern programming frameworks like React, Angular, .NET, JavaScript, Python, C#, PHP, Node.js.
• Manage enterprise-wide information security programs to ensure compliance with standards such as ISO 27001, NIST standards, PCI DSS, FISMA regulations while implementing robust cybersecurity measures like firewalls and risk management protocols.
• Drive innovation by integrating AI technologies including machine learning and natural language processing into products and services to enhance business intelligence capabilities.
• Oversee IT governance processes ensuring adherence to security compliance programs such as HIPAA or GDPR; develop disaster recovery plans and business continuity strategies.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to align technology initiatives with organizational objectives; communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders at all levels.
• Manage budgets for technology projects; negotiate vendor contracts for cloud services (AWS/Azure), hardware/software procurement; oversee project management using Agile methodologies to ensure timely delivery.

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of computer networking concepts including WANs (Wide Area Networks), LANs (Local Area Networks), VPNs (Virtual Private Networks), firewalls, and cloud development environments.
• Proven expertise in AI integration—applying machine learning models and natural language processing techniques to real-world applications.
• Strong background in system design for scalable systems development utilizing distributed systems architecture.
• Deep understanding of data management security practices including encryption standards and compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NIST standards.
• Demonstrated experience in technical project & program management supervision with a focus on software development lifecycle (SDLC), DevOps practices, ITIL framework, and Agile methodologies.
• Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing senior technology teams; adept at strategic management and fostering innovation within diverse teams.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript (React/Angular), Python, C#, Java; familiarity with SQL databases like Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB; expertise in API development for system integration.
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure platforms including AWS and Azure; experience managing cloud computing environments for enterprise applications.
• Strong verbal communication skills capable of engaging with executive teams; skilled negotiator with experience managing budgets for large-scale projects.
• Understanding of IT security management practices including cybersecurity protocols; experience overseeing security compliance programs across multiple regulatory landscapes.

Pay: $160,000.00 - $230,000.00 per year
