Job Description
The Client is seeking a skilled C# Developer to program, maintain code, and develop .NET solutions for our business. This role involves designing, writing, and maintaining C# program code for both future and ongoing projects. The successful candidate will also contribute to design and planning sessions, formulating approaches for current coding tasks.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality applications using C#, Angular, and SQL Server. Candidates must demonstrate experience with large menu-driven business systems, such as claims processing, payroll, medical, or insurance type applications.
Key responsibilities include transferring data between application screens, selecting and scrolling through large datasets, managing add/update/delete order-entry transactions, and building new screens and reports. Please note: API usage is not part of this role.
To excel as a C# Developer, you must possess an excellent grasp of C# and the .NET framework, demonstrate prolific coding abilities, and exhibit strong daily problem-solving skills. A top-quality C# Developer will manage the creation, maintenance, and further development of .NET applications and programs.
C# Developer Responsibilities:
- Developing C# .NET solutions for the organization.
- Creating in-house applications using the .NET framework.
- Debugging and maintaining written code (no APIs).
- Defining and organizing projects on an ongoing basis.
- Reporting and resolving issues related to .NET projects.
- Identifying and handling technical risks and issues.
- Working collaboratively in a project team alongside other developers.
- Providing technical support to stakeholders within the organization.
- Reporting on project statuses and developments to senior team members.
- Participating in project meetings with management and other team members.
C# Developer Requirements:
- C#, .NET 3.1 (or higher)
- Angular (gRPC would be a plus)
- SQL Server
- Visual Studio/Visual Studio Code
- Knowledge of build and deployment repositories such as Azure DevOps or GitHub.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a C# programmer or developer.
- Knowledge of other coding languages (COBOL, PHP, C+, Java, Python, ColdFusion, etc.) would be a plus.
- Ability to write clean, easy-to-understand code.
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and complete projects with minimal supervision.
- Sound understanding of coding and development processes.
- Experience with working in an agile environment.
