Your Responsibilities
If you enjoy developing stable web applications and want to apply your PHP skills effectively, join our team. We are seeking a dedicated PHP Developer to advance our digital learning platform. You will manage and expand our Learning Management System (LMS) and other Academy applications.
You will be responsible for developing new features, optimizing existing components, and collaborating with the team to ensure our systems remain reliable and future-proof.
- Further development and technical support for our Learning Management System (LMS) and related Academy applications.
- Developing new features and extensions using PHP, alongside maintaining the existing codebase.
- Implementing and customizing plugins, modules, and interfaces.
- Analyzing, debugging, and refactoring existing components to enhance stability and performance.
- Developing and maintaining backend logic and frontend components with PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Integrating and connecting external systems and APIs.
- Supporting deployment processes, version control, and release management within Application Lifecycle Management.
- Conducting technical analysis of requirements and implementing new functionalities in close collaboration with business departments and the development team.
Required Skills & Experience
- Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable IT qualification (e.g., IT specialist for application development).
- Profound knowledge in web development, including PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as Application Lifecycle Management.
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL), deployment, version control (e.g., Git), and requirements engineering.
- A collaborative spirit for interdisciplinary teamwork, coupled with independent and solution-oriented work.
- Excellent German language skills and at least good English language skills.
