Your Responsibilities as a PHP Developer
If you enjoy developing robust web applications and want to apply your PHP expertise meaningfully, join our team. We are seeking a skilled PHP Developer (m/f/d) to enhance and maintain our digital learning platform. This role involves managing and expanding our Learning Management System (LMS) and other Academy applications.
You will be instrumental in developing new features, optimizing existing components, and collaborating with the team to ensure our systems remain reliable and future-proof.
- Lead the further development and technical support for our Learning Management System (LMS) and related Academy applications.
- Develop new features and extensions using PHP, alongside maintaining the existing codebase.
- Implement and customize plugins, modules, and interfaces.
- Perform analysis, debugging, and refactoring of components to boost stability and performance.
- Develop and maintain both backend logic and frontend components utilizing PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Integrate and connect external systems and APIs.
- Provide support for deployment processes, version control, and release management within Application Lifecycle Management.
- Conduct technical analysis of requirements and implement new functionalities in close collaboration with business departments and the development team.
What You Should Bring
- Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable IT qualification (e.g., IT specialist for application development).
- Profound knowledge in web development with PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as Application Lifecycle Management.
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL), deployment, version control (e.g., Git), and Requirements Engineering.
- A passion for collaborative work within an interdisciplinary team, coupled with independent and solution-oriented problem-solving skills.
- Excellent German language skills and at least good English language skills.
