Apryse seeks experienced Solutions Engineers to drive customer success by evaluating, testing, and implementing Apryse’s Software Development Kits (SDKs) within client products and services. This role requires reviewing complex technical customer requirements and collaborating closely with clients to provide timely technical support and guidance during evaluation phases, ensuring seamless technology adoption.
As an Apryse technology evangelist, you will interpret and solve diverse business requirements across various industry verticals. You will coordinate with Apryse sales and product engineering teams to align customer expectations with licensing options and proposals. This position is ideal for a passionate developer who excels in customer-facing technical engagement and leverages development expertise to resolve technical challenges and ensure client success.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver product demonstrations and assist with installation or beta implementation of Apryse SDKs.
- Proactively engage customers (via email or calls) to diagnose technical challenges and define key technical requirements (functionality, platforms, file formats) necessary for successful product integration and licensing.
- Partner with sales and product engineering teams to review requirements and architect solutions that maximize value for both Apryse and the customer.
- Channel customer feedback regarding product usability and requirements back to product engineering to inform the Apryse product roadmap and meet market demands.
- Debug customer application source code to diagnose errors, resolve bugs, and provide implementation guidance.
- Develop and customize technical solutions to ensure comprehensive support for all critical customer stakeholders.
- Oversee all technical support tickets during the pre-sales cycle and communicate potential sales risks to the Apryse sales team.
- Train Apryse sales associates to improve their product knowledge and technical communication skills with clients.
- Monitor competitor solutions, electronic document standards, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience developing complex software projects, coupled with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 1+ years of experience in solutions architecture, solution integration/delivery, troubleshooting, debugging, or equivalent technical customer-facing roles.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in Portuguese is required.
- Strong experience with web development technologies and frameworks, including C#, PHP, ASP.NET, HTML5 Stack, JQuery, JavaScript, JSON, AJAX, and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with Internet architecture and mobile application development (Android, iOS, UWP).
- Expertise in JavaScript (or willingness to rapidly learn) and familiarity with modern trends (e.g., ES6/7, CSS3, React/Angular, NPM/Yarn, Webpack/Parcel, responsive web design).
- Demonstrated portfolio (GitHub or technical blogs) and experience building and debugging complex systems collaboratively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks and maintain focus in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly dependable, self-motivated, and self-managed professional.
Assets:
- Spanish language skills (written and verbal) preferred.
- Knowledge or interest in computer graphics, document formats/processing (e.g., PDF, SVG, XPS, PostScript), image compression technologies, and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
