About the Role
This role provides application support for operations, focusing on identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues for the company's applications and services. The goal is to ensure optimal performance and user satisfaction for both users and drivers. Reporting to the local technical team leader, you will collaborate with local and HQ engineering and operations teams to offer support, pinpoint areas for enhancement, and contribute to product improvements. You will also provide hands-on technical support during and after rollouts, and assist in localizing and adapting systems for regional operations.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for end-to-end applications, backend systems, tools, and workflows.
- Coordinate closely with local and HQ engineering teams.
- Troubleshoot technical issues across frontend and backend stacks.
- Customize tech tools for local data compliance and optimize workflows.
- Handle issues involving sensitive data with the highest level of integrity.
- Engage in ongoing compliance improvements and actively participate in privacy discussions.
- Engage in post-launch operational support, including monitoring, alerting, and debugging.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in software engineering or technical operations.
- Generalist with the ability to work across frontend, backend, and cloud infrastructure.
- Preferred Programming Languages: Java, Node.js, PHP (legacy systems).
- Frontend: React.js.
- Other Tools: CI/CD pipelines, monitoring/logging systems (specific tools TBD).
- Database: MySql, redis.
- Message Queue: Kafka.
- Demonstrated integrity and accountability in managing sensitive data and operational risks.
- Experience in operational support, especially during launch periods.
- Fluent in English & Mandarin, both written and spoken.
- US citizenship or valid work authorization required.

- Experience in logistics platforms.
