Duties and Responsibilities
- Carry bar supplies and equipment, such as liquors, fruits, ice, glasses, linens, and silverware from storage to the bar area.
- Slice and peel fruit for drink preparation.
- Fill ice bins and crush ice as needed.
- Wash and clean bar glasses and equipment, maintaining a clean and neat work area.
- Replace empty beer kegs with full ones using a dolly and stock beer coolers.
- Wipe down the interior and exterior surfaces of coolers.
- Assist in setting up service bars and portable bars for events.
- Carry debris to waste containers.
- Serve bottled beer, soft drinks, and draw beer from kegs.
- Perform other assigned duties.

Requirements
Conditions of Employment
- Active-Duty Military Members stationed overseas must upload PCS Orders with their application.
- Successful completion of a background investigation is required.
- Completion of a pre-employment Physical Examination, with subsequent exams every three years, is mandatory to ensure physical fitness for duties.
- Must obtain a Food Handler’s Certificate or complete food handler's training.

To qualify, candidates must meet the experience requirements detailed below. Experience includes paid and unpaid work, such as volunteer service through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations. All qualifying experience will be credited. Your resume must clearly describe relevant experience. If qualifying based on education, transcripts are required.
Qualifying Experience
- Demonstrated experience in mixing alcoholic beverages for retail sale.
- Knowledge of a wide variety of beverages and the ability to combine ingredients like liquors, soda water, sugar, bitters, and fruit to create exotic drinks.
- Ability to recognize intoxicated or unruly patrons and effectively resolve issues or seek assistance when necessary.
- Proficiency in following cash handling procedures.
Education
This position does not allow for education substitution to meet experience requirements.
Foreign Education
Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used if proof is provided that credentials are equivalent to those gained in a conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence.
Additional Information
