Backend Tech Lead - .NET 8 & Microservices

We seek a skilled professional with extensive experience in .NET 8, REST and GraphQL APIs, microservices architecture, and Kafka messaging. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in relational and non-relational databases, Azure cloud services, and best practices in software engineering. This role involves significant technical contribution, supporting architectural decisions, and mentoring developers.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Develop and enhance applications using .NET 8, ensuring robustness, scalability, and adherence to architectural best practices.
• Design, develop, and maintain REST and GraphQL APIs, focusing on performance, security, and proper versioning.
• Implement and evolve microservices architecture, promoting decoupling, efficient distributed system communication, and application resilience.
• Deploy Apache Kafka messaging solutions for asynchronous communication and service integration.
• Model and optimize databases including MongoDB, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL to meet diverse scenario requirements.
• Utilize Entity Framework for object-relational mapping and migration management.
• Implement distributed caching strategies, preferably with Dragonfly, to enhance application performance.
• Operate within Microsoft Azure environments, managing deployments, configurations, and providing support for cloud solutions.
• Contribute to frontend development tasks using Vue.js, particularly for API integration.
• Provide technical leadership and support to the team through code reviews, best practice dissemination, and architectural decision-making.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Solid experience with .NET 8.
• Proven experience in technical support and mentoring developers.
• Extensive experience with microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in Apache Kafka messaging.
• Experience with MongoDB, SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
• Mastery of Entity Framework.
• Knowledge of distributed caching (preferably Dragonfly).
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud.
• Intermediate knowledge of Vue.js.
