Backend PHP Developer - Sygris Low Code Platform

Sygris, a leader in the Spanish market with its Sygris Low Code platform, is seeking Backend Developers specializing in PHP for immediate hire. Founded in 2008, Sygris is a Spanish company providing technological solutions for data management across various business areas including Sustainability, Corporate Responsibility, Environment, Health & Safety, IT, Governance, Risk & Compliance, HR, and Suppliers. We partner with major multinationals to digitize their non-financial business processes.

Your Mission

• Actively participate in the full development lifecycle of new features and modules for the Sygris platform, from initial design to launch and internal support for consultants.
• Suggest and implement innovative, high-tech solutions.
• Design and implement various PHP solutions for APIs and services.
• Optimize backend code and identify opportunities to increase efficiency.
• Design SQL databases (MySQL, MariaDB).
• Utilize collaborative and agile work systems, along with development team visualization and monitoring tools.
• Communicate proactively with development colleagues to refine application design and meet area objectives.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in Backend development.
• Excellent knowledge of PHP, from simple scripts to complex OOP libraries.
• Familiarity with at least one PHP framework such as Laravel, CakePHP, or Symfony.
• Advanced knowledge of relational databases and SQL (MySQL, MariaDB).

Desirable Qualifications

• A degree related to Computer Science, Technology, or Application Development is highly desirable.
