Mexico Squad: International Expansion
Our team is the engine driving Frete.com's expansion into Mexico, with the critical mission of validating our value proposition in a new international market. We develop products that meet the demands of the Mexican logistics sector, combining local specificities with the experience and expertise gained over years of leadership in Brazil.
The central objective of this Squad is to mitigate expansion risks and collect real behavioral data that will guide the platform's future in the country. We operate at the intersection of business and technology, building optimized solutions and interfaces that establish our brand presence in Mexican territory from day one.
Responsibilities and Attributions
- Write code with good readability and testability, adhering to the reference architecture, and avoiding duplication or breaking existing interfaces.
- Deliver tasks consistently and autonomously.
- Provide feedback and propose improvements for the team's work process.
- Actively participate in the design of technical solutions.
- Proactively support less experienced developers, providing synchronous feedback (pair programming) or asynchronous feedback (code review).
- Contribute to technical documentation according to defined standards.
- Utilize AI tools for code optimization, testing, solution generation, and productivity.
Skills and Prerequisites
- Experience with backend programming languages (PHP and/or GO/Golang).
- Genuine interest in transitioning between both languages is important.
- Experience with developing/integrating Restful APIs.
- Experience with Docker and Git.
- Experience with relational databases (MySQL/Postgres).
- Knowledge of development best practices (Clean Code, SOLID, Code Review, DDD, Design Patterns) and secure development.
- Experience with automated testing.
Improve Your Chances (Preferred Qualifications)
- Knowledge of OpenAPI Specification (3.0/3.1).
- Experience with BFF architecture / microservices.
- Experience with event-driven architecture and Apache Kafka.

Work Model
