GoldGridBot is a managed bot-trading platform connecting users with automated trading strategies. Users select a broker, connect via OAuth2, choose a bot, and it trades 24/7. We are rapidly expanding and seeking a talented Backend Developer to strengthen our core engineering team.
As a Backend Developer, you will design and build robust APIs for our platform, covering user onboarding, broker connectivity via cTrader's Open API, Stripe payment processing, and real-time trade execution pipelines. You will work with Laravel 12, PHP 8.2+, and a modern tech stack including Redis, PostgreSQL, and queue-based architectures.
This pivotal role involves owning critical subsystems such as OAuth2 broker integration, webhook-based signal processing, and subscription management. Requirements
- 3+ years professional experience with Laravel (ideally Laravel 10+)
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and implementation
- Experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL and query optimization
- Familiarity with queue systems (Redis, Laravel Horizon)
- Knowledge of OAuth2 flows and third-party API integrations
- Experience with payment gateway integration (Stripe preferred)
- Understanding of WebSocket or real-time communication patterns
- Git proficiency and experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Good written English communication skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with trading platforms or financial APIs (cTrader, MetaTrader)
- Knowledge of gRPC or FIX protocol
- Experience with AWS (ECS, Fargate, RDS)
- Familiarity with multi-tenancy architectures
- Experience with Stripe Billing / subscription management
Pay: £34,132.43-£105,633.55 per year
