Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and evolve RESTful APIs for system integration.
- Perform corrective and evolutionary maintenance on existing services.
- Implement new routes and endpoints based on business demands.
- Ensure API integrity, security, and performance.
- Support analysis and resolution of system integration failures.
- Document endpoints, payloads, and business rules.
- Collaborate with internal teams (development, infrastructure, and business).
- Ensure stability and operational continuity of integrations.
Technical Requirements
Mandatory
- Experience with RESTful API development.
- Proficiency in at least one backend language: Node.js, Python, PHP, Java, or .NET.
- Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
- Knowledge of API consumption and integration (REST/SOAP).
- Experience with authentication and security protocols (JWT, OAuth, or similar).
- Proficiency in version control with Git.
Desirable
- Experience with healthcare integrations (HL7, FHIR is a plus).
- Knowledge of messaging systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar).
- Experience with scalable APIs and best practices (cache, rate limit, logging).
- Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Knowledge of API documentation tools (Swagger/OpenAPI).
