Backend Developer

We are seeking a skilled Laravel Backend Programmer to develop, maintain, and evolve our SaaS platform. This role involves working with APIs, databases, internal processes, and critical system components to ensure secure, stable, and scalable operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain APIs and backend modules using Laravel.
• Implement business logic, middlewares, permissions, and authentication.
• Optimize queries, models, and database structures.
• Integrate external services and manage asynchronous processes (jobs/queues).
• Collaborate with internal teams to enhance and expand functionalities.
• Maintain strong security practices, documentation, and code quality.

Requirements

• Proven experience (at least 2 years) with Laravel (versions 9/10/11) and PHP 8+.
• Proficiency in MySQL, Eloquent, and database design.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, authentication, and basic design patterns.
• Experience with Git and collaborative workflows.
• Fundamental understanding of web security.

Desirable (not mandatory)

• Experience with Redis, Docker, or CI/CD.
• Knowledge of WebSockets, microservices, or modular architecture.
• Familiarity with unit tests (PHPUnit/Pest).

Compensation & Benefits

Payment: $18,000 MXN net

Salary: $15,000.00 - $18,000.00 per month
