The Role
As a Backend Developer at Kyndryl, you’ll solve complex problems and identify potential future issues across the spectrum of backend platforms and services. You’ll be at the forefront of new technology and modernization, working with some of our biggest clients – which means some of the biggest in the world.
There’s never a typical day as a Backend Developer at Kyndryl, because no two projects are alike. You’ll be managing backend systems data for clients, developing day-to-day solutions, and ensuring security compliance. You’ll oversee a queue of development assignments and collaborate with cross-functional teams, prioritizing tasks to deliver optimal backend solutions to our clients.

Technical Requirements / Soft Skills:
- Experience as a specialized back-end development professional for web portals, working with Node.js and .NET.
- Strong experience in SQL Server and building REST and GraphQL APIs.
- Experience with authentication and security using JWT, development and evolution of new APIs, as well as automations and caching strategies for performance and scalability gains.
- Experience with Adobe Commerce (Magento) / PHP, integrating back-end, services, and web portals.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, supporting continuous deliveries, code quality, and operational efficiency.
