WaSe7 GmbH, established in 2020, acquired WarmupServer operations in early 2021. Our servers are built on Counter-Strike 2 (CS2), providing a platform for thousands of players to enhance their skills. WarmupServer originated as a hobby in 2016, a time when professional game server management was scarce. Our founder, then a full-time mathematician, transformed this passion into a small business by 2017, realizing the vision of a global game server network.
Initially based on CS:GO, our servers adapted to its significant growth from 2012 to 2023, a period that also saw the rise of the CS skin market and other professional Counter-Strike companies. In 2023, CS transitioned to a new engine, becoming CS2. With a dedicated team of three, we navigated a delayed release, prioritizing server quality, and reclaimed our leading position by the end of 2024. The year 2025 focused on internal structuring and defining future goals. 2026 is our year of growth! We are launching new products and seeking highly motivated individuals to join our team, contributing to something significant.

What We Need Your Support For:
- Product development for Counter-Strike 2 plugins
- Development of websites and web applications with database integration
- Direct collaboration with the CEO, especially during initial phases
- Code generation using artificial intelligence (ChatGPT, Grok, Gemini, etc.)
- Security assessment of AI-generated code
- Front-end and back-end development
- Administration of Linux servers
- Potential for long-term leadership responsibility
What Distinguishes You:
- Exceptional software development skills, demonstrated through:
- Completed degree in Computer Science or a related field with a strong computer science component
- Software developer training
- Personal open-source projects
- Excellent proficiency in PHP
- Very good knowledge of Linux
- Good knowledge of C++ or C#
- Strong web development skills (Javascript, HTML, CSS, PHP, and other relevant technologies)
- Experience with artificial intelligence tools
- Excellent German language skills and very good English language skills
- Open communication, receptiveness to constructive criticism, and a commitment to self-development
- Interest in transparent work processes
- No specific interest in remote work/home office
