YOUR ROLE
As an Application Security Analyst, you will support the team in application security assessment activities throughout the software development lifecycle, collaborating with developers, architects, and DevOps teams.
- Support in Application Security assessment and code review activities via SAST and SCA
- Execution and support for DAST and IAST activities, contributing to vulnerability identification
- Vulnerability analysis and participation in defining related corrective actions
- Contribution to drafting application security guidelines and requirements
- Support in Threat Modeling, Risk Assessment, and Vulnerability Management activities
- Collaboration with technical teams to integrate security best practices into the development cycle (Secure SDLC)
YOUR CHARACTERISTICS
- Basic knowledge of Application Security concepts and Secure SDLC (e.g., SAST, DAST, SCA)
- Familiarity with at least one of the main programming languages (Java, Python, JavaScript, PHP, etc.)
- Interest in cybersecurity, secure coding, and vulnerability management topics
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of Application Security frameworks and tools (OWASP, Fortify, Checkmarx, ZAP, SonarQube or similar)
- Familiarity with DevSecOps and CI/CD pipelines, including security/quality gates
- Understanding of containers (Docker/Kubernetes) and academic background or basic certifications in cybersecurity
- Good knowledge of English and a team-oriented attitude
