Senior Front End Developer (Angular) - EU Remote
We are seeking a highly experienced Front End Developer specializing in Angular, fluent in English, to work remotely within the EU. The successful candidate will integrate into a team closely cooperating with a major client’s IT team on site for the initial assignment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the architecture and design of complex information systems.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust web applications using the Angular framework.
- Integrate Angular applications seamlessly with RESTful web services.
- Implement responsive user interfaces and enhance user experience using HTML, CSS, and TypeScript.
- Collaborate effectively with backend developers to implement comprehensive frontend solutions.
- Define, construct, and execute detailed test scenarios and scripts.
- Write clean, modular, and maintainable code adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Implement unit tests and perform thorough debugging to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Optimize application performance and ensure scalability using techniques like caching and lazy loading.
- Collaborate with the team to define REST API contracts and ensure seamless integration with backend systems.
- Stay current with the latest Angular versions, frameworks, and tools, suggesting improvements for development efficiency.
- Participate actively in code reviews, agile development processes, and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) workflows.
- Take the lead on projects as required.
- Test and fix bugs or other coding issues.
Requirements:
- University degree in IT combined with a minimum of 11 years of IT professional experience.
- Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages: JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Strong knowledge of the Angular framework and its ecosystem, including Angular CLI, RxJS / NgRx, and TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience integrating Angular applications with RESTful web services.
- Knowledge of back-end languages and frameworks such as Java, PHP, Spring boot, and Hibernate.
- Hands-on experience in the creation of test automation solutions.
- Good knowledge of software testing management, IS quality assurance, and quality control practices.
- Good experience with quality procedures.
- Required experience in Planning and Defect management.
- Experience in test data management.
- Knowledge of Test Management and Defect Tracking tools.
- Knowledge of Selenium.
- Good knowledge of Enterprise Application Integration and functional testing.
- Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and CI/CD workflows.
- Excellent command of the English language.
