We are seeking a Senior PHP Developer to join our established development team and help us revolutionize one of the UK's most paper-heavy industries. You will work on live, production systems handling document processing, identity verification, and integrations with lenders and estate agents. We operate using full AI-assisted development workflows, and we seek a candidate who embraces this approach.
Key Projects and Responsibilities
You will be actively delivering significant platform evolution, including:
- CRM and case management rebuild, migrating from legacy systems to proprietary solutions.
- AML and compliance automation, covering source of funds verification, identity checks, and fraud detection, integrating with leading providers.
- Document intelligence for processing, extracting, and understanding legal documents at scale.
- Third-party integrations, including estate agent portals, lender APIs, and payment systems.
AI-Driven Development Environment
AI is embedded in our development process. We utilize AI-assisted development workflows as standard and integrate LLMs and automation directly into the platform for document processing, decision support, and compliance checks. Experience and strong opinions on effective AI integration are highly valued.
Technical Requirements
- Strong PHP and Laravel experience (5+ years).
- Production experience in AI-assisted development and LLM integration.
- Comfortable with Vue.js or willing to learn.
- Strong Architectural skills, focusing on future planning.
- Experience with APIs, integrations, and working with third-party systems.
- Familiarity with AWS or similar cloud environments.
