Agile Delivery Lead - APAC (Remote)

Human Made is seeking an experienced Agile Delivery Lead to join our global team. This is a fully remote, Individual Contributor role open to applicants based in the APAC region. Salary for this position ranges from $55,000 to $75,000 per annum, dependent on location and experience. You will report to the Global Delivery Lead and focus primarily on Project Delivery and Team Effectiveness, guiding distributed squads to deliver exceptional enterprise-level WordPress projects.

As the Agile Delivery Lead, you will strategically balance project execution with strategic team leadership. You must possess a thorough understanding of Scrum and Agile concepts, ensuring delivery processes are efficient, transparent, and continuously improving. This role involves key client engagement, detailed delivery planning, and cross-functional collaboration to align business needs with core agile principles.

You will collaborate closely with Engineering and Commercial teams, fostering a culture of trust, empowerment, and continuous improvement within your squad, aligning them with Human Made’s values. You are expected to anticipate and proactively address problems, escalating issues to relevant discipline leads when necessary. Success in this role requires a passionate pursuit of value, aligning client priorities with company goals.

Requirements

• Experience in a Scrum Master or Agile Delivery role.
• Desirable qualifications include Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM I/II), or similar certifications.
• Proven ability to thrive in dynamic, multi-project environments, adapting quickly and context switching effectively while maintaining focus on delivery goals and team alignment.
• Expertise in applying Scrum practices, coupled with a broad awareness of wider agile principles and a data-driven mindset.
• Experience working in an enterprise agency environment and/or hands-on expertise with Scrum practices.
• Strong servant leadership skills, including negotiation, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, and promoting transparency. Must be able to negotiate and adapt project scope in response to change.
• Possess a strategic and driven mindset.
• Proficiency in a wide range of project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Confluence, Operating), including budget/time tracking and issue tracking software, with the depth of knowledge to recommend appropriate tools for specific projects.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts.
• Knowledge of core web technologies (e.g., WordPress, PHP, HTML/HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, version control systems) and hosting/deployment best practices.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Applying Scrum To Produce High Quality Work

• Manage the scope and timeline for each project.
• Create and maintain a team culture that facilitates shared responsibility for successful delivery.
• Guide and coach the team on the principles and practices of the agile framework utilized in the project.
• Work with the squad to help define and refine project scope, estimates, and resource requirements.
• Prepare and facilitate workshops (virtual or in-person) to establish project needs and relationships.
• Facilitate meetings to monitor project progress and resolve team impediments or guide the team to remove them.
• Assess the time and financial impact of scope changes and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Identify opportunities to use experiments for learning and solutioning.

• Maintain commercial awareness: Understand project budget status and report back to the company.
• Manage allocation of project needs in conjunction with your squad composition.

• Facilitate wider engagement with internal and external stakeholders and partners engaged in delivery.
• Build a partnership relationship with clients, understanding their business imperatives to align the team on those goals.
• Understand the workings and needs of the account you are partnered with.
• Act as a leading member of the squad or team.
• Communicate regularly and proactively engage in difficult conversations.
• Manage interactions with clients and internal teams professionally and personably.
• Utilize data to enable the team and wider business to make critical decisions.
