We are seeking a talented and passionate Adobe Commerce Sr Project Manager to join our Commerce team in the United States. This unique opportunity involves working with large clients, providing management expertise and guidance to both clients and internal teams. The successful candidate will be a hands-on ecommerce professional with extensive technical experience in ecommerce and web development.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multiple new and existing Adobe Commerce (Magento) projects from inception to completion, including migrations, 3rd party integrations, custom development, and maintenance of existing client websites.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Identify, track, and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Conduct daily/weekly standup, planning, and status meetings with clients and project teams.
- Effectively balance the needs of the client and internal teams.
Client Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong relationships and ensuring client confidence.
- Understand client needs and translate them into actionable development requirements and project plans.
- Provide regular updates and reports to clients on project status, milestones, and deliverables.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and demonstrations as needed.
Team Coordination:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, analysts, and QA, located onshore, nearshore, and offshore.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring clarity and alignment.
- Monitor team performance and provide feedback and guidance to ensure project success.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
Technical Expertise:
- Utilize in-depth knowledge of Adobe Commerce (Magento) to help guide technical decisions and solutions with clients.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in ecommerce and web development.
Strategic Planning:
- Contribute to the development of ecommerce strategies and roadmaps for clients.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and innovation.
- Support in preparing project proposals with the ability to plan and prioritize work items, create cost estimates, and create a project schedule.
- Align project goals with overall business objectives.
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on ecommerce development, operations, migrations, integrations, development, and maintenance.
- Proven experience with Adobe Commerce (Magento) and other ecommerce platforms.
- Strong understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Expertise in Agile and Onsite/Offshore Delivery models.
- 5+ years of experience using Jira, Confluence, Smartsheets, Asana, and Microsoft 365 are preferred.
- Must be able to present to senior management and key stakeholders.
- Scrum Master and PMP certification a must.
- Experience managing project budgets and resource management.
- Experience working with large, enterprise-level clients.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A proactive and adaptable attitude in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in English.
