Adobe Commerce (Magento) Senior Developer - Bilingual

We are seeking a highly skilled, bilingual Adobe Commerce (Magento) Senior Developer to join our team. This role focuses on developing robust, modular PHP code, extending Magento functionality, and ensuring high-quality e-commerce solutions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal and client teams to define project vision and requirements.
• Grasp project goals and strategic objectives from initial concept through final delivery.
• Facilitate requirements definition and ensure clear understanding across all team members.
• Develop clean, modular, and robust code independently to meet project requirements.
• Create custom Magento modules and extend existing Adobe Commerce functionalities.
• Execute custom theme development and integrate Magento with various external systems.
• Implement and support modern CI/CD pipelines and testing practices for deployment.
• Partner with QA and Support teams to rapidly triage and resolve software bugs.
• Conduct comprehensive quality analysis of code and requirements prior to production deployment.
• Provide technical support for production deployments and post-deployment verification as needed.
• Ensure overall project delivery success through collaboration with client and internal stakeholders.
• Propose improvements for application usability and performance.
• Identify and escalate project risks, including performance issues and deadline constraints.
• Research and evaluate new integration and plug-in capabilities for Adobe Commerce.
• Collaborate with internal and client team leads to establish and refine standardized development processes.

Required Qualifications

• Strong analytical and complex problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• 4-6+ years of professional experience in PHP and Magento software development (Adobe Commerce).
• Extensive experience with core technologies including PHP (5 & 7), JavaScript (jQuery, Prototype, KO), XML, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and GIT.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), CI/CD, API management frameworks, and mobile development (iOS/Android) is highly valued.
• Proven ability to manage multiple assignments concurrently and mentor/support other developers.
• Deep expertise in Magento architecture, design patterns, theming, functional enhancements, performance optimization, and integration methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to develop robust API integrations connecting Magento/Adobe Commerce with essential platforms (e.g., CRM, ERP, Payment gateways, Shipping, Tax systems).
• Expertise in identifying and implementing performance optimizations within the Magento environment.
• Experience across the full software development lifecycle, utilizing tools like GitHub, Confluence, and JIRA for version control, build management, unit testing, and issue tracking.
• Exceptional organizational skills, self-administration, attention to detail, multi-tasking capabilities, and effective prioritization.
