About Us
We, L&K development GmbH or LAKdev for short, are an owner-managed, young software company from Berlin that develops customized solutions for external clients as well as operating its own learning offers and information platforms. Our tech stack primarily includes the CMS Drupal, the PHP framework Laravel, and modern JavaScript frontend technologies such as React and Tailwind.
We are a purely digital company and do not have our own office space. Our work is 100% remote, and we coordinate via video conferences and chat tools. Working hours are flexible, and you will be part of our project team from the very beginning.
What awaits you?
Depending on your strengths, we will involve you in the development of web applications and websites. We have various projects and technologies in use, which you can work on depending on your interest and ability. For example, you will implement:
- Given or custom design templates with HTML/CSS/JavaScript
- Mobile apps with React Native
- The frontend of web applications with React and Next.js
- The backend of customer projects in PHP (e.g., in Laravel)
- Setup and support of CMS and Drupal websites
- Maintenance and care of websites and web applications
What do we offer?
- Hourly wage of 18-20 Euros (during the probationary period: 16 Euros) with an ideal workload of 15 hours per week.

What you bring to the table
Skills:
- You are studying for a Bachelor's or Master's degree in an IT-related field such as Computer Science, Business Informatics, or Media Informatics.
- You are confident in using HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
- You have experience in a frontend JavaScript framework like React or you have experience with the PHP programming language.
- Advantageous: Experience with CMS (especially Drupal but also WordPress or similar) or experience with a PHP framework (Symfony/Laravel).
- You can use Git for collaborative work.
- German at a native level (C2) as well as secure English skills (B2–C1) in speech and writing.
Interests:
- You are interested in the topics of e-learning, app development, and web technologies.
- You enjoy working efficiently from home.
- You are willing to learn new technologies and programming languages.
