About Us
We, L&K development GmbH (LAKdev), are an owner-managed, young software company from Berlin. We develop customized solutions for external clients and operate our own educational offerings and information platforms. Our tech stack primarily includes the Drupal CMS, the PHP framework Laravel, and modern frontend technologies such as React and Tailwind.
We are a purely digital company operating without dedicated office spaces. Our work is 100% remote, coordinated via video conferences and chat tools. Working hours are flexible, and you will be part of our project team right from the start.
What to Expect
Depending on your strengths, we will assign you to suitable projects focusing on either the frontend or the backend.
We work with various projects and technologies where you can contribute based on your interests and skills. You will implement tasks such as:
- Given or custom design templates using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Backend for client projects in PHP (e.g., in Laravel or Drupal)
- Mobile apps with React Native
- Website frontends with React
- Maintenance and servicing of websites and web applications
What We Offer
- Experience-based hourly wage of €18–€20 (during the probationary period: €16) with an ideal workload of 15 hours per week
- 100% remote work with flexible scheduling

- Maximum practical relevance through direct involvement in programming. You get complete insight from project acquisition and team organization to project completion
- Possibility of transitioning into a full-time position upon good performance and graduation
What You Bring
- Currently studying for a Bachelor's or Master's degree in an IT-related field such as Computer Science, Business Informatics, or Media Informatics
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with a frontend JavaScript framework such as React, Vue.js, or Angular
- or experience with the PHP programming language
- Advantageous: Experience with CMS, especially Drupal, but also WordPress or similar
- Sensible and responsible use of AI tools (e.g., Claude Code, Codex) in daily work
- Ability to use Git for collaborative work
- German C2 proficiency and English B2/C1 proficiency
