Description:
We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented WordPress & WooCommerce developer to help us maintain and improve our business website. The role starts with resolving current bugs and performance issues, followed by potential transition into as-needed support to keep the site secure, updated, and optimized.
The ideal candidate is someone who knows WordPress & WooCommerce inside out and communicates clearly.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and resolve existing bugs (checkout issues, plugin conflicts, styling fixes, etc.)
- Keep WordPress, plugins, and WooCommerce updated without breaking functionality
- Monitor and improve site performance (speed, responsiveness, SEO basics)
- Configure/maintain integrations (MailerLite, Fluent Forms, WooCommerce digital products)
- Ensure security, backups, and GDPR compliance basics are in place
- Provide quick turnaround on urgent fixes and reliable monthly maintenance
- Convert Figma designs into a fast, responsive WordPress/WooCommerce pages
Requirements:
- 3+ years building custom WordPress sites without page builders
- 5+ years experience building WooCommerce stores, especially for digital product delivery
- Fluent in HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript
- Familiarity with responsive design and optimizing for mobile devices
- Able to work independently and communicate clearly
- Strong attention to detail—pixel perfection, correct fonts/colors, clean layouts
