We are seeking a WordPress Web Developer to support us in the creation, maintenance, and updating of our clients' websites. We are looking for someone with solid programming fundamentals and a passion for learning, who can provide technical support and ensure our pages function optimally and securely.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain WordPress websites.
- Basic configuration and management of hosting and servers (installations, backups, migrations, etc.).
- Install and configure tracking codes (Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, etc.) on sites.
- Keep sites secure and updated (plugins, themes, backups, SSL certificates).
- Resolve technical incidents and address specific client requirements.
- Collaborate with the team on task management (Slack/Monday).
Requirements
- Knowledge of WordPress (themes, plugins, basic customization).
- Foundational knowledge of HTML, CSS, and PHP (general understanding for adjustments).
- Basic knowledge of hosting, servers, and DNS.
- Understanding of installing tracking codes for digital campaigns.
- Knowledge gained from degrees such as: Computer Systems Engineering, Information Technology Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Internet Technologies Degree, or related careers focused on programming/web development.
