For our Digital Solutions department, we are seeking a dedicated intern with initial WordPress experience who is eager to advance their skills through challenging practical projects.
Your Responsibilities
- Collaborate on the development and enhancement of e-commerce solutions, digital platforms, and custom WordPress systems.
- Implement designs, functionalities, and digital user experiences using WordPress.
- Contribute to WooCommerce projects and online shops.
- Configure, integrate, and customize WordPress plugins and extensions.
- Develop responsive user interfaces for desktop, tablet, and smartphone.
- Integrate and structure content, features, and digital components.
- Support the technical evolution of existing systems.
- Conduct functional, display, and usability tests.
- Optimize performance and quality for WordPress and WooCommerce projects.
- Perform technical and visual quality assurance prior to publication.
- Work on real client projects from implementation through to go-live.
What You Bring
- Currently studying or completing training in Computer Science, Media Informatics, Web Development, Media Design, Digital Media, or a related field.
- Initial practical experience with WordPress.
- Ideally, experience with Elementor or similar page builders.
- Interest in e-commerce, digital platforms, and modern web technologies.
- A keen eye for modern design, user-friendliness, and digital user experiences.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Initial experience with WooCommerce is also an advantage.
- A meticulous, reliable, and structured approach to work.
- Eagerness to learn and a desire to increasingly take on independent project responsibilities.
- Good German language skills.
Important: If available, please include examples of online shops, WordPress projects, digital platforms, landing pages, or other web projects you have contributed to. Academic or personal projects are also welcome.
