WordPress Developer (Part-time) - Remote or Münster

We are seeking a WordPress Developer (m/f/d) for the ongoing development and support of our WordPress website. This position is available fully remote or at our Münster office. Join our Marketing Team in a part-time role (30 hours per week).

What We Expect From You

• In-depth WordPress knowledge and practical experience in developing custom WordPress themes, Gutenberg blocks, and plugins according to WordPress standards and best practices.
• Proficiency in PHP, SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript (+ React) for both front-end and back-end development.
• Experience with Git-based workflow and version control in collaborative development environments.
• Desirable: Experience with performance optimization, technical SEO, and accessibility.
• Knowledge in managing Google Tag Manager and tracking integrations.
• Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams (Marketing, Design, Product) and external service providers.
• Fluent German and very good English skills.

Your Responsibilities

• Support, further development, and sustainable optimization of our WordPress website.
• Implement design and UX requirements in close cooperation with Marketing, Product, and Content teams.
• Develop custom functions, Gutenberg blocks, and WordPress plugins following current WP guidelines.
• Create and adapt WordPress themes.
• Conduct performance optimization, bug fixes, and refactoring.
• Ensure and continuously improve accessibility and technical SEO.
• Integrate and maintain tracking solutions (Google Tag Manager).
• Implement requirements for marketing campaigns, including landing pages and conversion optimizations.
• Document and maintain internal WordPress extensions and repositories for design settings.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and team.blue across various areas.
• Contribute to the strategic development of web architecture and technical standards.
