We are seeking an experienced WordPress Developer to work as a service provider (MEI) in a remote, home office capacity. The successful candidate will be responsible for the creation, maintenance, and optimization of websites, in addition to the technical management of hosting servers.

Responsibilities

• Create, configure, and maintain WordPress sites using themes, page builders, and custom development.
• Make adjustments and implement features using HTML, CSS, and PHP as needed.
• Manage and configure plugins, ensuring performance, compatibility, and security.
• Implement security measures and best practices within WordPress and the hosting environment.
• Administer hosting servers with access to WHM and client panels for tasks such as creating and managing email accounts, configuring DNS, and performing basic server maintenance.
• Provide technical support for issues related to websites and hosting.

Requirements

• Deep knowledge of WordPress, including installation, configuration, customization, and advanced solutions.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and a basic understanding of PHP.
• Experience with plugins, performance optimization, and security.
• Knowledge of hosting server management (WHM, cPanel, or equivalent).
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical problems.
• Must have an active MEI (Brazilian individual micro-entrepreneur registration) to issue invoices.
• Availability to work remotely from a home office.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with website migration.
• Knowledge of technical SEO.
• Familiarity with monitoring and optimization tools.
