PeoplePlan Consultoria is seeking a Mid-Level WordPress Developer to join one of our clients, a company specializing in digital intelligence for Publishers. This client is responsible for technologies that power major content portals with millions of monthly accesses.

This company develops complete solutions—from UI/UX to content migration, infrastructure, and performance engineering—with impressive case studies, including audience growth exceeding 300% for large news portals.

The professional will join a highly technical squad, collaborating on the development and evolution of a proprietary product based on the WordPress framework, designed to maximize client audience, speed, and digital revenue.

What You Will Do Day-to-Day

• Participate in the development squad by creating, implementing, and testing new functionalities for our WordPress Framework-based product.
• Work directly with themes, plugins, standardized architecture, and high-performance environments.
• Support the migration of legacy projects into our ecosystem.
• Build efficient, scalable functionalities optimized for large volumes of data.
• Contribute to continuous product improvement, proposing technical solutions that drive client growth.
• Perform code reviews, maintaining high code quality and best practices.
• Follow Scrum-based processes, emphasizing organization, collaboration, and autonomy.

Technical Requirements (Hard Skills)

• Solid experience with Object-Oriented PHP.
• Advanced WordPress (themes, plugins, hooks, filters).
• PHP Composer.
• Creation of Gutenberg blocks.
• Complete WordPress installation (DB, domain, infra).
• Experience with site/system migration (WordPress to WordPress or other technologies).
• Creation of local environment (localhost) for PHP development.
• API integration.
• Use of GIT + Gitflow.
• Programming logic and a strong foundation in mathematics.
• Documentation (readme.md, comments, function documentation).
• Code review + quality standards.
• Javascript.
