Job Description
MunicipalCore is a web development company focused on building modern, accessible websites for municipalities, local governments, and public sector organizations.
We are looking for a skilled WordPress Developer to join our contractor network and help build structured, content-heavy municipal websites. You will work alongside a UI/UX designer and accessibility specialist to deliver clean, fast, and compliant government websites.
Projects are assigned after MunicipalCore secures a signed client contract. Developers are paid per project milestone once work begins.
This role is ideal for a developer who enjoys building professional websites and wants consistent project-based work as our agency grows.
Responsibilities
- Develop responsive WordPress websites from approved UI/UX designs
- Build and customize WordPress themes or block-based layouts
- Ensure strong performance, security, and mobile responsiveness
- Assist with content migration from existing municipal websites
- Collaborate with designers and accessibility specialists during projects
- Test websites across devices and browsers
Experience Requirement
- 3+ years of WordPress development experience
- Experience building responsive websites
- Experience working with custom themes or block-based development
- Experience working with content-heavy websites preferred
