We are seeking a seasoned Website Project Manager to oversee web development projects, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budget, and exceptional client satisfaction.
This is a 12-month fixed term contract role, offering a salary range of £30,000.00 to £40,000.00 per year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Plan, manage, and deliver website projects from initiation through launch, meeting quality standards, budgets, and timelines.
- Discovery Sessions: Conduct in-depth sessions with clients to gather requirements, map objectives, and create comprehensive project roadmaps.
- Team Coordination: Collaborate effectively with designers, developers, and content creators to ensure project alignment and smooth execution.
- Budget Oversight: Monitor project finances, identify risks, and implement cost-effective solutions.
- Timeline Management: Develop and manage detailed project timelines, proactively addressing delays and keeping stakeholders informed.
- Client Communication: Serve as the primary client contact, managing expectations and providing regular updates.
- Quality Assurance: Oversee testing to ensure websites meet internal and client standards for performance, functionality, and user experience.
- Post-Launch Support: Coordinate internal and client teams for prompt post-launch assistance and issue resolution.
Requirements
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing website projects of varying complexity and budgets.
- Specific experience managing projects utilizing Laravel, PHP, and WordPress platforms (5 years preferred).
- Experience managing website projects within the Pharmacy sector, including knowledge of GPhC Compliance (3 years preferred).
- Proven track record of successful project delivery on time and within budget.
Skills & Certification:
- Strong understanding of the full web development lifecycle (design, development, testing, deployment).
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to anticipate project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Required Certification: Certification in project management (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP, Agile).
- WordPress Expertise: Very good level of WordPress experience and understanding is essential, as 90% of websites built are on this platform.
- Discovery Expertise: Proficiency in running Discovery Sessions to gather requirements and align stakeholders.
- Tools: Experience with project management tools (e.g., Monday.com, Asana, ClickUp) for managing timelines, budgets, and resources.
- Knowledge (Advantageous): Familiarity with web hosting, domain management, and SEO best practices.
