We are seeking a skilled Website Developer to join our technical team. This role focuses on the development, maintenance, and evolution of web platforms, emphasizing WordPress, Elementor, and SEO optimization.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain responsive websites and web applications, ensuring high performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Manage, update, and maintain all WordPress websites.
- Utilize Elementor for creating and editing web pages.
- Implement improvements related to usability, performance, and responsiveness.
- Perform customizations using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Monitor website performance and implement SEO best practices, including on-page SEO content optimization.
- Ensure platform security, manage backups, and handle necessary updates.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, design, and communication teams.
- Assist in analyzing traffic metrics and generating reports.
- Proactively monitor production applications to identify and resolve issues.
Qualifications
- Background or experience in Web Development, UX/UI, WordPress, or related fields.
- Solid knowledge of back-end development technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python, Ruby, PHP) and API integration.
- Proven experience with WordPress and Elementor.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and foundational knowledge of JavaScript.
- Expertise in SEO principles and tools such as Google Analytics and Search Console.
- Experience utilizing cache, security, and optimization plugins.
- Understanding of web performance metrics and accessibility standards.
- Familiarity with Docker environments (containers, volumes, basic deployments), Git version control, and CI/CD practices.
- Fluent English (written and spoken).
- Valued Assets: Knowledge of web security, performance optimization, accessibility (WCAG), Sphinx, and reStructuredText.
