THE PROJECT
Bouquineur is a web project centered around books, reading, and everything one keeps in mind or in a notebook after finishing a novel. The project has not yet started: everything needs to be created, from the back-end to the front-end, based on a custom framework. This is precisely what makes it stimulating. It is a non-commercial project, driven by passion. There is no business plan: just the desire to create a useful, simple, and respectful tool for book lovers.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
You will participate in the technical implementation of the platform, in direct collaboration with the founding developer. Depending on your profile and interests, the program includes:
- Structuring the database
- Developing PHP modules and Bootstrap/jQuery interfaces
- Integrating various APIs, including AI
- Participating in technical and functional choices
- UX/UI reflection (optional but welcome)
A daily check-in every morning via video or message to track progress. Following that, autonomy. Of course, autonomy does not mean a lack of contact: the developer will be available to exchange, answer your questions, and help you grow.
PROFILE SOUGHT
- Good foundations in PHP, MySQL, jQuery, and Bootstrap
- A taste for clean and simple code
- Interest in books, writing, or meaningful projects
- Curiosity, autonomy, and the ability to propose ideas
- Comfortable working on a simple custom framework that requires a good understanding of PHP

DURATION / START
8 weeks desired, or less if you are looking for a shorter internship. Start date to be determined together; nothing is fixed.
