Duties
- Assist in designing and developing engaging, responsive web interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Support back-end development tasks with technologies such as Node.js, Django, ASP.NET Core, or Ruby on Rails to create robust web services and APIs.
- Collaborate on database management and integration using MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or SQL Server to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Contribute to version control workflows utilizing GitHub, Git, SVN, or Jenkins for seamless code management and deployment.
- Participate in wireframing and UX/UI design processes to craft intuitive user experiences that align with project goals.
- Assist in testing applications through unit testing and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Support DevOps practices by working with Docker containers, AWS cloud services, Ansible automation tools, and continuous integration pipelines.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Web Development or a related field.
- Demonstrated knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3 (SCSS/SASS), JavaScript (TypeScript), AJAX, Bootstrap, and responsive web design principles.
- Familiarity with back-end frameworks such as Node.js, Django, .NET (C#), or PHP for server-side development.
- Experience with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB or SQL Server; understanding of SQL queries and data visualization techniques.
- Knowledge of version control systems including Git or SVN; experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins is a plus.
- Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and web services; exposure to GraphQL or SOAP is advantageous.
- Ability to work collaboratively within Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban using tools like Jira or Trello.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail; eager to learn new technologies like AWS cloud platform or DevOps practices.
