We are seeking a skilled and dependable Full-Stack Web Developer to provide ongoing support, maintenance, and issue resolution for our SaaS platform, BudsiDesk. This fully developed solution empowers freelancers and small businesses to efficiently manage invoices, expenses, documents, and tax reports.

The platform is fully operational, and this role involves taking ownership of its stability, ensuring effective issue resolution, and driving continuous improvement. It's an ideal opportunity for a developer who excels at troubleshooting, system refinement, and delivering a smooth user experience.

Project Goal

To ensure BudsiDesk remains a stable, secure, and high-performing SaaS product, characterized by fast and effective issue resolution, proactive maintenance, and continuous optimization.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Ongoing Support & Issue Resolution (Core Focus)
    • Monitor the platform for bugs, errors, and performance issues.
    • Efficiently investigate and resolve user-reported problems.
    • Troubleshoot backend, frontend, and integration issues.
    • Ensure minimal downtime and rapid recovery from incidents.
    • Implement logging and monitoring tools for proactive issue detection.
  2. Maintenance & Stability
    • Maintain and enhance existing codebase quality.
    • Refactor code as needed to improve performance and reliability.
    • Ensure compatibility with browser, dependency, and API updates.
    • Manage updates, patches, and conduct system health checks.
  3. Performance & Optimization
    • Optimize load times and overall system performance.
    • Improve database queries and backend efficiency.
    • Identify and resolve system bottlenecks.
  4. Security & Data Protection
    • Maintain and enhance platform security.
    • Ensure proper authentication, validation, and data protection.
    • Monitor for vulnerabilities and apply necessary fixes.
  5. Feature Enhancements & Improvements
    • Implement small to medium feature updates as required.
    • Improve existing functionalities based on user feedback.
    • Collaborate on future enhancements and scalability planning.
  6. Infrastructure & Integrations
    • Maintain critical integrations, including payment systems and file storage.
    • Ensure APIs and third-party services remain functional and up to date.
  7. Documentation & Communication
    • Maintain clear technical documentation.
    • Communicate issues, fixes, and updates transparently.
    • Provide recommendations for system improvements and future development.

Required Skills

  • Front-end: HTML, CSS, JavaScript (experience with project frameworks).
  • Back-end: Node.js, PHP, or relevant framework experience.
  • Databases: SQL/NoSQL optimization and maintenance.
  • Strong debugging and issue resolution skills (critical).
  • Experience with live system support and maintenance.
  • Familiarity with authentication systems, file storage solutions, and payment integrations.
  • Proficiency in version control (Git) and testing/debugging best practices.
