Job Title: Freelance Laravel & Filament Developer (BC-Based / Remote)
Project Overview:
We are launching a brand-new, highly optimized web application built on a modern PHP stack. We are seeking a talented freelance developer to join us for an intensive initial build phase, followed by ongoing, intermittent support as we scale.
You will work remotely (preferring British Columbia time zones) under the guidance and architectural direction of our Senior Developer.
Rate: $45 – $65 CAD / hour (Depending on experience)
Commitment: High volume/hours at the outset, tapering to an occasional retainer/on-call basis as the platform scales.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Building out robust admin panels and workflows using Filament.
- Writing clean, modern PHP 8.x and Laravel code.
- Developing logic to dynamically generate and manipulate SVG images based on database inputs.
- Collaborating closely with our Senior Developer to execute features according to project specs.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong Laravel & Filament Experience: You should be comfortable spinning up resources, managing custom pages, and customizing the Filament admin panel.
- SVG Manipulation: Experience programmatically generating, modifying, or rendering SVGs dynamically on the backend.
- Modern Code Enthusiast: You appreciate clean, up-to-date codebases without the baggage of legacy tech debt.
- Collaborative Mindset: You take direction well from senior leadership but have the autonomy to execute tasks independently.
- Location: Must be legally authorized to work in Canada; BC residency preferred for timezone alignment.
