Web and WordPress Developer

Elife Group maintains the institutional websites and blogs of its various brands on WordPress. We are looking for someone to create, support, and evolve these websites, working alongside our current specialist in day-to-day implementations: creating pages and blogs, migrations, and performance optimization.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Implement new institutional pages and blogs on WordPress
• Maintain and support the websites and blogs of group brands
• Execute WordPress migrations (hosts, domains, and brand consolidation)
• Optimize performance and Core Web Vitals (cache, images, lazy load, CDN)
• Apply UX/UI adjustments to pages and templates
• Customize themes and plugins (basic HTML, CSS, PHP, and JS)
• Use AI tools to accelerate code, content, and automations

Requirements and Qualifications

• Practical experience with WordPress (pages, themes, plugins, and administrative panel)
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript
• Knowledge of web hosting (domains, DNS, servers, and publishing environments)
• Performance optimization and Core Web Vitals
• Experience with WordPress site migrations
• Fluent use of AI (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot) applied to work
• Organization and autonomy to work remotely
