Tester/QA

Job Description:

• Develop and execute automated tests using Playwright, applying the Page Objects pattern;
• Perform manual and automated tests with autonomy and quality;
• Execute integration, regression, acceptance, exploratory, and usability tests;
• Validate REST APIs using tools such as Postman, Insomnia, Apidog, Bruno, or Swagger;
• Use Git/GitHub for code versioning and participation in code reviews;
• Actively participate in team meetings and QA chapter meetings;
• Apply critical thinking in defining the most relevant test scenarios for the business;
• Collaborate with the CI/CD cycle, integrating automated tests into pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions);
• Ensure organization, maintenance, and scalability of automated tests.

Responsibilities:

• Experience with test automation using Playwright, ensuring the assertive choice of selectors and the rigorous application of the Page Object pattern for code maintenance and scalability;
• Mastery in executing manual and automated tests;
• Create and execute robust tests for REST APIs using tools such as Postman, Swagger, Apidog, Bruno, or Insomnia;
• Experience with code versioning (Git/GitHub), actively participating in code reviews to ensure the technical quality of the test suite;
• Ability to manage deliverables autonomously, ensuring consistent deliveries within sprint deadlines and release cycles;
• Execute a comprehensive testing strategy, including functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and usability tests;
• Collaborate with the CI/CD cycle, integrating automated tests into pipelines (GitHub Actions);
• Apply critical thinking in prioritizing scenarios, identifying the highest value and most critical features for the business within the platform;
• Communicative, proactive, resilient profile with a willingness to continuously learn.

Differentials:

• Experience with visual regression testing (e.g., Percy) to ensure UI integrity;
• Knowledge of load/performance testing (e.g., K6);
• Experience validating communication between microservices to prevent production breakdowns;
• Knowledge of AWS environments and experience with tests executed in ephemeral environments;
• Experience with tools like LambdaTest (TestMu);
• Familiarity with PHP (Laravel), Vue, or Nuxt, facilitating understanding of application code and collaboration with developers;
• Use of artificial intelligence applied to testing (script generation, data masking/generation, or data analysis);
• Experience with JIRA for task management.
