Quick Summary
Studio 5D is looking for a part-time team member to assist with web projects, quality control, task organization, and AI-assisted development. This position is ideal for a technical, organized, and curious individual who is comfortable managing multiple small to medium-sized web projects. We are primarily seeking someone reliable, meticulous, capable of thorough testing, clear documentation, and working independently to move tasks forward.
The Work
You will assist with:
- Testing websites and web applications prior to launch.
- Reproducing bugs and clearly documenting the steps to replicate them.
- Verifying small features and confirming they function as intended.
- Keeping GitHub tasks and issues well-organized.
- Making minor modifications in Laravel, Vue, Livewire, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript.
- Assisting with website updates, SEO tasks, and content updates.
- Preparing brief notes, screenshots, and summaries.
- Utilizing AI tools to research, code, test, and document your work.
Projects are already well-structured. You will work with guidance and support. Architecture, infrastructure, deployments, and client communications will remain with Studio 5D initially.
Required Profile
You might be a great fit if you:
- Have experience with Laravel, PHP, Vue, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Are comfortable using GitHub.
- Enjoy thoroughly testing systems and finding edge cases.
- Can write clear notes in French.
- Are organized and capable of tracking multiple small details.
- Are comfortable learning and working with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Codex, Claude, Cursor, or others.
- Are capable of asking the right questions when something is unclear.
Assets
- Experience with Livewire.
- Experience with WordPress or simple websites.
- Basic knowledge of SEO.
- Experience with Tailwind CSS.
- Basic understanding of hosting, staging environments, and deployments.
- Interest in AI tools, automation, and business process improvement.
- Functional English skills for reading technical documentation.
Schedule & Conditions
- Approximately 20 hours per week to start.
- Part-time position or contract mandate, depending on your profile and situation.
- Initial trial period of 60 to 90 days.
- Remote work is possible, with availability during Eastern Time business hours.
What Success Looks Like
After a few weeks, you should help reduce open follow-ups: tasks will be clearer, QA will improve, fewer details will be missed, and small modifications will progress without relying entirely on a single person.
The role can evolve over time. As trust is established, you may take on more responsibilities for specific projects, client follow-ups, or development tasks.
To Apply
We are looking for an organized, reliable, and autonomous individual who is eager to learn using modern tools. While experience is important, the quality of your work, clarity, and judgment matter just as much as years of experience.
