FCamara is looking for a Tech Lead with expertise in PHP and React.js. This opportunity is in partnership with one of the largest national references in higher education in the healthcare field, with a strong presence in Medicine and Dentistry courses. Responsibilities and duties
- Develop and evolve applications with PHP, Laravel, and React.
- Technically lead the team and support lower seniority professionals.
- Define architecture, quality, security, and development standards.
- Perform code reviews and support technical decisions.
- Create and integrate APIs, services, and web applications.
- Identify technical debts, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Work together with product, design, and infrastructure.
- Use Claude, Codex, or similar tools to accelerate development, with technical review and responsibility.
Requirements and qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in software development.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience technically leading developers.
- Solid experience with PHP 8+ and Laravel.
- Solid experience with React and Next.js.
- Experience with PostgreSQL and knowledge of MySQL or MariaDB.
- Experience with application architecture, data modeling, and use of ORMs.
- Ability to support technical decisions, define standards, and guide the team.
- Experience with development and integration of REST APIs.
- Knowledge of unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Experience with Redis, cache, queues, and asynchronous processing.
- Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and application security.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, code review, and quality practices.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS or GCP.
- Experience using Claude, Codex, or similar tools to accelerate development.
- Ability to review and ensure the quality of code produced with AI support.
- Hands-on profile, with autonomy, sense of responsibility, and delivery orientation.
- Performance, security, and scalability mindset.
- Good technical communication and collaborative posture.
Differentials
- Experience with Node.js.
- Knowledge of TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and GraphQL.
- Experience with MongoDB.
- Knowledge of microservices, serverless architecture, and Docker.
- Experience with headless CMS, such as WordPress or similar.
- Experience in educational institutions or the healthcare sector.
