How Your Day-to-Day Will Be

Among the tasks performed daily, we can highlight:

• Contribute directly to building a product that optimizes freight logistics for national e-commerce, causing a real impact on people's lives;
• Work in squads that use agile methodologies to deliver constant value to our customers;
• Collaborate on the development of new features, following the architecture and best practices defined by the team, focusing on your development and code quality;
• Actively participate in Code Review sessions, focusing on individual technical evolution and maintaining the team's quality standards;
• Perform preventive maintenance and bug fixes, using the debugging process to deepen knowledge of the business domain;
• Support the monitoring of applications in production, using observability tools to ensure our services are always available;
• Help the team with technical analysis and task refinement, using AI tools (Copilot/Cursor and/or Claude) to accelerate productivity and code precision;
• Participate in planning and the delivery cycle, and assist in resolving incidents with the support of more experienced developers;
• Keep curiosity active, researching and sharing with the team what you are learning about new technologies;
• Learn a lot and share knowledge.

Requirements and Qualifications

And to ace it, you will need:

• Solid experience in NodeJS development, preferably NestJS framework, and/or solid experience with PHP, preferably with Laravel Framework;
• Mastery of service architecture and integrations via APIs (REST, RPC, or GraphQL);
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB);
• Familiarity with Docker for running isolated development environments;
• Knowledge of AWS cloud;
• Knowledge of the fundamentals of web technologies and their main protocols and standards such as: TCP/UDP, HTTP/HTTPS, SMTP, SSH, FTP, SSL/TLS, DNS, WebSocket, OAuth, JWT, RestFul;
• Knowledge of monitoring and observability;
• Solid knowledge of design patterns, SOLID principles, and writing automated tests;
• Good interpersonal communication to interact with different areas and clarity to explain technical difficulties;
• Proactivity and analytical profile to investigate problems autonomously before escalating;
• Autonomy and ownership: takes on problems from end to end and seeks solutions, not just pointing out issues;
• Continuous learning mindset: questions the status quo and seeks to constantly improve, collective thinking (Flamingo spirit).

We Will Love It If You Have

• Familiarity with AWS services (S3, Lambda, SQS, and RDS);
• Notions of observability (New Relic, Datadog, or Grafana);
• Knowledge of Deploy and CI/CD strategies (GitHub Actions or GitLab CI);
• Interest in event-driven architectures and messaging;
• Curiosity about application security and OWASP Top 10 practices;
• Familiarity with MongoDB;
• Knowledge of PHP/Laravel or Golang;
• Curiosity about high-availability software development;
• Experience in logistics or high scale.
