Nexure is seeking a remote Site Reliability Engineer in Brazil to manage, migrate, and upgrade hybrid on-premise and cloud infrastructure. Starting at R$11,500.00 per month, the role involves executing upgrades for operating systems, Kubernetes, service mesh, databases, PHP, and Java, automating infrastructure patching, implementing DevSecOps practices, and collaborating with security and development teams to ensure secure rollouts and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Modernize, migrate, implement, and upgrade servers, storage, and networks (physical and virtual) in hybrid environments (On-premise + Cloud)
- Work together with security teams in the proactive application of patches and vulnerability fixes
- Plan and execute upgrades of operating systems, Kubernetes, service mesh, databases, PHP, Java, and monitoring tools
- Perform secure rollouts aligned with the change management process (CAB), minimizing production impacts
- Develop scripts and tools for infrastructure patching and upgrade automation
- Implement DevSecOps practices, strengthening environment security
- Work in partnership with the development team to support and enable application updates
- Ensure compliance with information security policies, topology updates, CMDB, and creation of operational playbooks (N1/N2)
- Standardize and document processes following IT governance frameworks and best practices
- Define guardrails and standards for the secure deployment of new projects
