YOUR DUTIES AND TASKS:
- Educate prospects on various platform solutions (e.g., BigCommerce, Shopify, Magento, WordPress) through a consultative, best practices approach, including analysis and analytics to align with business and technical requirements.
- Conduct needs analysis and technical scoping sessions with prospective customers to gather and document key requirements.
- Provide pre-sales technical consulting to the Sales team, participating in online demonstrations, conference calls, and site visits with project managers.
- Document prospective client needs and project requirements comprehensively.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and the voice of sales and marketing to prospects and partners.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team on proposals and RFPs, ensuring technical information and recommendations meet client requirements.
- Work with third-party partners or solutions to develop custom solutions as needed.
- Contribute to thought leadership content, white papers, and other sales/marketing collateral showcasing agency capabilities.
- Develop new processes and practices to maintain industry leadership.
- Stay updated on the latest features, capabilities, and applications across different platforms to provide optimal client guidance.
- Lead internal project planning and development of recurring solutions for common client needs, such as web application development for e-commerce merchants.
- Support design and project management teams during project discovery to ensure UX best practices and future project scopes are anticipated.
- Provide emergency development support for key Coalition clients and major accounts.
YOU SHOULD HAVE:
- 4-5+ years of Solutions Engineering experience in a relevant market or a similar senior development role.
- Strong knowledge of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Experience with various e-commerce and CMS platforms such as BigCommerce, Shopify, Magento, and WordPress.
- Proven expertise in solution architecture, project scoping, and product demonstration.
- Ability to deliver consultative presentations to C-level executives and engage in in-depth technical discussions.
- Experience with commerce solutions and applications, including POS, product catalogs, order management, ERP, and payment gateways.
- Sales methodology and solution selling training is a plus.
- A charismatic, energetic, and self-starting personality.
- Strong ability to collaborate with and motivate diverse teams.
- Excellent verbal, presentation, written, and organizational skills, with a passion for success.
For California, New York, Washington, and Colorado residents, the starting base pay for this position ranges between $22.50 - $35 per hour. Compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills test performance, geographic location, and seniority. For locations outside these states, compensation may fall outside the specified ranges.
