We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to support the implementation of projects for large organizations in the banking and fintech sector. The person in this position will be responsible for designing and developing enterprise-class solutions, combining technological, business, and consulting perspectives. Experience in the Data & AI area will be an additional asset – especially in the context of projects related to data platforms or analytics. This is a role for someone who wants to combine system architecture, conceptual work, and strategic client collaboration.
What tasks await you?
- Conducting discussions with clients and translating their business needs into enterprise-class technological solutions.
- Designing system architecture (cloud/on-prem/hybrid) considering scalability, security, and regulatory requirements.
- Technological consulting – selecting tools and architectural approaches considering costs, risks, and benefits.
- Collaborating with engineering teams on designing and implementing solutions.
- Supporting sales processes through expert knowledge and participation in bidding.
- Analyzing client organizations and identifying opportunities and threats (technical and business).
- Co-creating the strategy for developing technological solutions within the company.
- Sharing knowledge and supporting the development of architectural competencies within the organization.
- Building an expert image by participating in industry events.
Our Requirements:
- Min. 7 years of IT experience, including experience in designing enterprise-class solutions.
- Experience working with clients – especially in the banking, financial, or fintech sector (welcome).
- Experience in designing system architecture (e.g., cloud, microservices, integrations).
- Comfortable with consulting work and able to conduct presentations and build relationships.
- Proficiency in English at min. C1 level and readiness for occasional business trips.
- Ability to translate technical issues into business language.
- Experience in analyzing and comparing different architectural approaches.
- Ability to estimate solution costs (TCO, ROI).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Data / Big Data / AI / ML.
- Knowledge of tools such as Databricks, Spark, Snowflake, Synapse, MS Fabric, or similar.
- Experience in building data platforms or analytical systems.
- Knowledge of programming frameworks used in microservice solutions, e.g., Java Spring Boot or .NET Core.
- Queueing systems for on-prem and cloud applications.
- SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Container deployment environments k8s/OpenShift/GKS/EKS/AKS.
- DevOps/FinOps/SecOps issues at an architectural knowledge level.
