Software Quality Analyst (QA)

Neo Crédito is looking for a Software Quality Analyst (QA) to strengthen our team and ensure the excellence of our product deliveries.

Daily Activities

• Plan and execute functional and regression tests, ensuring delivery quality.
• Develop, review, and maintain test scenarios and test cases based on requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Perform front-end and back-end testing, validating flows, integrations, and business rules.
• Identify, register, and track bugs and improvements using Jira, providing clear evidence and descriptions.
• Support the execution of REST API tests (Postman/Insomnia).
• Participate in agile ceremonies (daily, planning, review, retrospective), contributing a quality perspective from the start.
• Collaborate with developers, PMs, and other areas to understand requirements and continuously improve processes.
• Support the improvement of quality best practices, contributing suggestions and standardization to the team.

What We Expect From You (Requirements)

• Completed or ongoing higher education in technology fields.
• Previous experience with software testing (manual and/or automated).
• Knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Experience creating and executing test plans/cases.
• Experience with testing types: functional, regression, integration, and API testing.
• Good communication skills for interacting with users, technical areas, and management.
• Analytical profile, with a proactive stance in identifying problems.
• Ease of relationship building and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Openness to continuous learning and technical evolution.

Technical Skills

• Experience with manual testing and notions of test automation.
• Basic knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Experience (or familiarity) with automation tools such as Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium.
• Experience with REST API testing (Postman, Insomnia).
• Familiarity with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and basic queries.
• Experience with tools like Jira (or Azure DevOps).
• Use of Git for code versioning.

Differentiators (Bonus Points)

• Experience with React or modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Knowledge of Node.js, Express, or NestJS.
• Knowledge or experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Quality certifications such as ISTQB or CTFL.

Work Schedule

• Monday to Thursday: 08:00 to 12:00 / 13:00 to 18:00
• Friday: 09:00 to 12:00 / 13:00 to 18:00 (home office)
